Eclipse

Eclipse caters to those who are fashion conscious such as college students or anyone whose careers are related to the visual arts.  They are young Millennials who are 18-35 and are willing to purchase luxurious items.  Items that are very unique and not seen in everyday fashion. Trends and cuts such as hoodies, boots, layering and asymmetry are all remarkable to one concept. That would be Avant-Garde. Of course Eclipse will be competing with designers such as Rick Owens, Junya Watanabe, Yohji Yamamoto, or other markets like Demobaza, Fabrixquare, Guylook and other Korean web store. Like every other brand, Eclipse looks into their clients into what they want in order to grow as a business. Feedback from recent survey shows that shoppers like good quality clothes for a low price. Feedback also shows that dark colors and neutrals are sought out. Low prices and colors will attract customers. The only thing that seems to be an obstacle is, “Avant Garde.” When shown recent fashion lines like popular celebrity Rihanna’s Fenty Puma or Kanye West’s Yeezy, clients are reluctant to be attracted to such predisposition. Which is why Eclipse will compromise and make urban streetwear garments with a unique twist. After all, the inspirations to make Eclipse are similar to urban streetwear but more fantasy and daring. These inspirations are sought from video-games and CGI films and the name of the collection was a personal choice. Since the collection are predominantly dark colors and the Fashion Show will be in Spring 2016, I named it “Eclipse.” Like the moon that covers the sun, my collection will bear the sun rays and become the shadow that quickly disappears as soon as they grace their beautiful presence onto the warm world.
