Questions:
-What was the most difficult aspect of putting your garment together?
Sewing pleats onto knits is the most difficult part. It slithers and it is fragile. Holes and knots are a huge problem with sewing pleats.
-Was there a new technique you learned during the making of your ensemble?
A new technique I learned is how to pleat. I never learned how to pleat and this was a fresh experience. I think I would have loved the experience if the pleats were not on knit
-How will you use the new techniques in the future?
In the future, my garments will have some sort of fabric manipulations on it. Pleats could be one of them. I like how it looks and I like how it forms.
-How much did your garment cost? (Fabric, thread, notions, etc)
It cost in total around $50-$60

-Write out your philosophical statement.
A multipurpose garment that can be worn as a dress or as a caridgan. Although the original purpose is a dress, the playful snaps allow the dress to open as a caridgan while still keeping the look of a dress.
