About Me

Justin Suon, a graduate from Dominican University with a BA in Fashion Design. In a pilgrimage of self-discovery, a passion flamed out in searching of individuality. Beginning in early adolescence, fashion became a forefront of finding identity. Not wanting to become like everyone else has developed a taste for uniqueness and wanting clothes to have characters instead of looking like generic department store. Therefore, a personal style was created inspired by Avant Garde.  Most retail menswears are boxy, simple and squarish. Justin believe men's fashion can be elegant, feminine and playful. Using cut to determine the fit, techniques to allow the fabric to flow and deciding prints & color to allow the silhouette to become alive. Please enjoy this journey as he is embarking it as well.

"People ask why I do monochromatic clothes; the reason is because I'm thinking in proportion to the world. In this room, your head is going to look so much more interesting if it's on a monochromatic column. Whereas I think people think of outfits and gets a little too fussy, a little too detailed. I'm always thinking of the line of a person standing with their head in a room and I always feel like a stalk, or a stem, or a pillar is nicer. I always think of everything architecturally." -Rick Owens
